Plasma Emission Spectroscopy Kits

Plasma Emission Spectroscopy Kits are preconfigured for general plasma applications.
The kits include spectrometers  having typical range and resolution for most applications, a fiber optic cable, and Oceanview software.

Flame Spectrometer Kit for Plasma Emissions

Picture
The Flame kit is a good general purpose solution for most plasma  spectroscopy applications.  There are two options for the Flame.  Option 1 is configured for 200 to 850 nm.  This is a good working range  to characterize or measure most plasma emissions.  Option 2 is the same basic kit  however the spectral range of the Flame has been increased so that it is 200 to 1100 nm.     The Flame has an extra collection lens added to improve sensitivity by a factor of 2 to 5 times (depending on the fiber optic cable)

HR 4000 Kit for Plasma Emissions

While many different spectrometers can be used for plasma spectroscopy the HR 4000 is nice for several reasons.  First, there is a longer path  optical bench so it is possible to achieve higher   resolution than the  USB/Flame   series of spectrometers.  Second,  the 4000 detector is a 3600 pixel array so  there are 80% more pixels defining a  given emission peak. An extra collection lens has been added to improve sensitivity levels by a factor of 2 to  5 (depending on the fiber optic cable).
