Hybrid Multigrating Spectrometer

The  Hybrid Spectrometer system includes up to 3 software selectable gratings and   a manually  adjustable slit.
This capability allows the user a degree of  flexibility not normally available:
The resolution can be adjusted in fit the peak width
The spectrum can be divided into both high and low                         resolution regions (using different gratings)
As an example:
in Raman up to 3 separate high resolution ranges can be                 detected by one spectrometer
              OR
                for

The spectrometer can be set to use a single grating or cycle between three gratings with approximately a 15 second slew rate.
Since the spectrometer uses a ccd array a full spectral image is captured at one time.  Integration time is adjustable and with  included triggering the spectrometer can be integrated in LIBS systems.

Gratings in the three grating array can be changed by the user if
other spectral ranges are needed in the future. The "swap out" takes about 15 minutes.  An obvious benefit to the user is that this spectrometer can be adjusted to new applications by changing a grating rather than the typical approach of purchasing a new spectrometer.

If you need more capability in your spectrometer contact us about this unit.
