The Hybrid Spectrometer is a next generation spectrometer combining the capabilities of a CCD array with software selectable gratings. In essence the hybrid spectrometer can integrate the capabilities of three separate high resolution spectrometers and support three separate spectroscopy requirements. For example, one channel could be dedicated to a broad range absorption application, while the other two gratings could be configured for two distinct Raman regions.
