Working with the National Instruments Driver

​Using the National Instruments Driver will require installing NI-Visa software and the
appropriate NI Driver. 
The driver supports  reasonable functionality, but does not have the built in
calculation subroutines included in Ocean Optics Omnidriver (with SPAM): mathematical
processing of spectral information will require the appropriate VI's be created.
Addressing the internal spectrometer I/O is not supported in Labview.
The NI software was tested with a USB 4000, however most Ocean spectrometers
use the same communication protocol.
