AcuScan1200 is an easy and rugged material identity verification optical Scanner. It offers reliable material identity validation in seconds. The AcuScan1200 is an advanced Raman Spectrometer utilizing high performance Volume Phase Holographic Gratings (VPHGs), Volume Phase Holographic Optical Elements (VHOEs).
The Raman Systems include spectrometers for applications ranging from Raman spectroscopy to optical coherence tomography to hyper-spectral imaging for users including researchers, and end users.

AcuScan 1200 can quickly use spectral fingerprint to determine whether raw materials, intermediates or finished products are chemically authentic with respect to the AcuScan 1200 spectra library data. It provides reliable pass/fail verification results.
The AcuScan1200 embedded software features Spectra Overlaying, Subtracting Blanks , Deleting Spectra, Averaging spectra, External Input/Output control, Saving/ Opening Spectra, auto scaling of viewed sensor data, spectral matching, library creation, and system calibration .
AcuScan1200 does not require sample preparation and needs only very small amount of sample. It is a fast, highly selective, and non destructive sample identification and validation device. Furthermore it obtains also semiquantitative data of the active ingredients in a pharmaceutical mixture using proprietary spectra-analysis techniques.
The AcuScan1200 has very wide applications in chemistry, physics, biology, medical, etc. The AcuScan1200 offers universal detection and identification of substances based on their high Raman spectra specificity. It allows accurate and rapid identification of pharmaceutical, food, environmental contaminants, chemicals, illicit street drugs, narcotics & intermediates or precursors, explosives, hazardous materials, REACH, chemical warfare agents, counterfeit identification , etc. It allows identification of raw material through liquids, solids, powders packaging such as glass or clear plastic sample vial, clear plastic bag, double-bagged pharmaceutical ingredients in a drum or tablets in blister packaging.
