MonoScan2000 Scanning Monochromator Computer-controlled Accessory for Isolating Single Wavelengths
The MonoScan2000 is a scanning monochromator that’s ideal for turning broadband light sources into tunable sources for selecting excitation and emission wavelengths in fluorescence applications or illumination and read wavelengths in reflectance and transmittance applications. The unit scans the range from 300-700 nm at 15-20 ms per nanometer and is compatible with Ocean Optics spectrometers, light sources, fibers and accessories.
The MonoScan2000 can be used with a single-element detector to isolate one wavelength at a time and is programmable for scanning of a range of wavelengths. Because the MonoScan has no slit, the diameter size of the optical fiber helps to determine the optical resolution of the system.
