An Example of Composite Images vs Individual Wavelength Specific Images
This RGB image was constructed from 3 wavelength specific images. The image shows some lack of sharpness because of the movement of the trees and plants. There was a slight breeze.
Rather than construct true RGB color it is possible to use wavelengths not seen by the human eye. By using a 775 nm image, for example, a color shift that accentuates tree and foliage features can be created.
Animation of Several Images
This animation cycles thru multiple images at different wavelengths. The image changes demonstrate reflectivity changes of the different tree and foliage types. Several of these images were used to reconstruct the RGB and False RGB above.
