Lightwind has a variety of product choices for vacuum based process monitoring/control/endpoint. The L Series  incorporates a plasma source with a spectrometer for any process that does not give off light spontaneously or where there is interest in the compete process cycle. The S Series of products is designed to rely on plasma or other  light emissions.

Biochem sensors are designed to provide maximum sensitivity, with minimal maintenance.  Some sensors are chemically specific, such as the Neofox which measures O2 in gases or liquids. Other sensors may have shared sensitivity to several chemicals.

Spectrometers for fluorescence, emission, reflection as well as systems with light sources for absorption are some of the options available for educational use. Curricula, educational kits, and software with wizards for the science student are some of the many option available.

E d u c a t i o n

Lightwind offers a unique MEMS  based sensors array for gas phase chemical monitoring. Sensitivities can be in the  ppm range  for many compounds.  A partial list of those chemicals includes: Industrial Solvents such alcohols,  ethers,  xylenes, anasthetics, chemical warfare agents and stimulants.

Lightwind  provides different software to meet the customers requirements. Software can range from being sensor  specific  to software that supports multiple sensor types...such as the Lightwind process software which  works with all Ocean Optics spectrometers.  Other software capabilities include: data visualization, analysis/model building and automation.
